Volunteer Summary for Keith Hoover

Keith has coached, taught, or created a number of courses over the years. He created during 2009 and 2010 the current web site and since 2008 has been the Learning Center Manager responsible for maintaining all of the training computers. In addition, Keith volunteers to the Palatine Senior Center providing support in maintaining their computer server and desktop computers.

Keith has a degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois (1974) and has worked for a computer vendor Digital Equipment Corporation (now part of HP) for 19 years supporting various operating systems and custom applications for customers in the Chicago area. He spent another 9 years at a Chicago Consulting firm developing/managing multiple computer applications for various Chicago area clients. Currently, Keith supports via his own business a few local small businesses with their computer needs as well as providing in home computer assistance to many others.
